Using public transit, take the Red Line train to the Chicago station stop. 

 

Where should I consider staying while in Chicago?

A hostel you may wish to consider is HI Chicago, 24 East Congress Parkway, Chicago (phone 312.360.0300).  This hostel is a 2-minute walk from a station on the city's Red Line train. and it's a 10-minute ride from there to Loyola University.  If the weather is nice, it's a 30-35 minute walk between the hostel and Loyola.

Nashville, Tennessee

Where will classes take place?

Depending on when your course takes place, classes will be held at either the Nashville Public Library or on the campus of Tennessee State University - Avon Williams (Downtown) Campus, 330 10th Avenue North, Nashville, Tennessee (phone 615.963.5000).

 

How can I travel from Nashville International Airport to/from downtown?

You can find helpful information regarding transportation to/from the airport on both the websites of Nashville International Airport and Tennessee State University.

 

If I booked the course with accommodations, where can I find directions to the Nashville Downtown Hostel?

The Nashville Downtown Hostel is located at 177 1st Ave North, Nashville, TN 37201 (phone  615.497.1208).  The hostel provides directions from the airport on its website.

Please note that the Nashville Downtown Hostel doesn’t offer breakfast but it does have a self-catering community kitchen that can be used for meal preparation.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Where will classes take place?

Niagara Falls, New York

Where will classes take place?

Class on Thursday will take place at Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport (New York). Class on Friday and Saturday will be held at Comfort Inn The Pointe in Niagara Falls, New York.

Where will I stay?

On Thursday you’ll stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport. On Friday and Saturday you’ll stay at Comfort Inn The Pointe in Niagara Falls, New York. The Comfort Inn is located next to the beautiful Niagara Falls State Park.

Philadelphia, Pennsylania

Where will classes take place?

Classes will be held on the campus of Peirce College, 1420 Pine Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (phone 215.545.6400.).

 

How can I reach Peirce College?

The Broad Street Subway's Lombard- South is located ½ block from Peirce College.

San Francisco, California

Where will classes take place?

Classes will be held at the City College of San Francisco.  Depending on the course session you select, class will take place at either the College’s Downtown Center or its Chinatown/North Beach Center.

 

Where should I consider staying while in San Francisco?

A hostel you may wish to consider is HI San Francisco Downtown, 312 Mason Square, San Francisco (phone 415.788.5604).  It's a 20 minute walk from this hostel to class.

Washington, DC

Where will classes take place?

Beginning in August 2019, classes will be held on the campus of Catholic University, 620 Michigan Avenue NE, Washington, DC (phone 202.319.5000).

Is parking available on the campus of Catholic University?

Permits are required to park at The Catholic University of America.  Guest parking permits can be purchased here.

As an alternative to purchasing a parking permit, metered parking is available on campus in front of Mullen Library and along the University Mall. The campus meters are currently in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday - Saturday. The cost to park at the meters is $2/hour for a maximum of 3 hours. Major credit cards and bills in $1 and $5 denominations are accepted. The meter stations do not issue change.

If you're looking for accommodations you may wish to consider Hosteling International, 1009 11th Street NW, Washington, DC (phone 202.737.2333).  It takes about 30 minutes to reach the campus of Catholic University from Hosteling International via public transportation.
