Especially for Non-Locals (Holiday Version)

The holiday season is a great time of the year to be in New York!   The city’s lights, decorations, store windows, and special events make it truly magical.  This course offers you the perfect opportunity to learn about some of the things that make New York unique in all the world while experiencing it in all its holiday glory.  The course schedule provides you free time to explore the city on your own to help you focus on what interests you the most!

(Although this course is designed for students who don't live in New York City,

local students are also most welcome!)

When will this course be offered?

This course will be offered Friday, December 7, thru Sunday, December 9, 2018.

What's the class schedule?

Friday

  • Class begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

  • Learning will take place while touring lower Manhattan on foot.

Saturday

  • Class begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

  • Learning will take place both in the classroom and during field trips around the city with your teacher.

Sunday

  • Class begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.

  • Learning will take place both in the classroom and during field trips around the city with your teacher.

How much is tuition and what does it include?

The tuition price is $319 and includes the following:

  • a public transportation pass (MetroCard) to get around New York City with your teacher

  • all costs associated with the class (there are no additional material or activity fees!)

Please note that neither the cost of airfare to/from New York City nor accommodations are included.

How many credit hours will I earn?

Upon successful completion of the course you'll earn 36 credit hours.
