Welcome to Miami
Meet your group at Freehand Miami (2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach). Visit Wynwood Walls and enjoy a group dinner in Miami, ending the evening on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach.
Everglades Adventure
Today features a trip to Everglades National Park for an airboat ride and nature walk.
Morning in Miami + Set Sail
Today’s experience includes a yoga session, weather permitting. Our ship, the MSC Seaside, departs the Port of Miami late this afternoon.
Nassau, The Bahamas
Our ship will be docked in Nassau, The Bahamas.
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve
Our ship will be docked at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, The Bahamas.
Return to Miami
Our ship arrives back at the Port of Miami. Enjoy breakfast, then it’s time to say farewell to the friends you’ve made! Disembarkation usually takes a few hours; do not book departing air or train travel before 1:30 p.m.
Plans may change due to weather, time constraints, road closures or local events.

Two Nights in Miami + Three Nights at Sea
Freehand Miami — January 20–21: Each guest has their own bunk bed in a four-bedded room. Rooms may be mixed gender.
MSC Seaside — January 22–24: Each guest has their own bed in a shared twin inside cabin.
All five nights are included in the $839 tour fee.
Important Miami + Cruise Details
Does this trip offer education credit?
No. This is a tour-only travel experience. Join the full Miami + Bahamas cruise experience with the group, with no classes required and no education credit awarded.
Two-Payment Option
If you prefer to pay for this travel experience in two payments, you can choose to pay a deposit of $500 when you sign up for this tour. The balance would be due by Monday, November 2, 2026.
What Costs Extra?
- Internet aboard ship (onboard texting is available through the MSC for Me app).
- Excursions offered by MSC in The Bahamas.
- Alcoholic beverages for guests age 21 and over.

Required Travel Documents
Each cruise passenger is responsible for identifying and obtaining all required travel documents for the entire cruise vacation and having them available when needed. Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding, and no refunds will be given.
Review The Bahamas visa information and confirm your individual requirements with your au pair agency before booking.
International Travel for Second-Year Au Pairs
If you are in your extension year, contact your au pair agency to confirm whether you are eligible to travel to The Bahamas and return to the United States. Review the Department of State’s automatic revalidation guidance with your agency. Eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, and admission is determined at the U.S. port of entry.
Tour Cancellation Policy
- On or before November 2, 2026: Full refund.
- November 3 through December 22, 2026: You forfeit $405.
- After December 22, 2026: No refund is available.
To cancel, email info@learningacrossamerica.net. Your cancellation is not effective until you receive written confirmation from Learning Across America.
Booking Your Travel and Connecting with the Group
First sign up for the tour and receive your emailed confirmation. Once your place is confirmed, you may book your travel arrangements.
Do not book departing air or train travel before 1:30 p.m. on January 25, as disembarkation usually takes a few hours.
As the tour approaches, Learning Across America will send each guest a WhatsApp group link to share updates and connect about travel plans.
