Two nights at Hotel Rendale Miami Beach in a four-person room with bunk beds.

Know Before You Go — Zoom
Meet your teacher and classmates, review the course and cruise plans, and get answers to your questions before traveling to Miami.
Wednesday, May 12
Welcome to Miami
Meet your teacher and classmates at Hotel Rendale in Miami Beach, then jump right into exploring some of Miami Beach’s most iconic sights. From there, we'll head across the bay to Downtown Miami to discover Bayfront Park and enjoy a welcome dinner — a perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow classmates and kick off your Miami adventure!
Thursday, May 13
Key West or the Everglades + Miami's Design District
Choose your included experience: Key West or Everglades airboat ride + Miami Design District.
Friday, May 14
Wynwood and Cruise Departure
Experience two sides of Miami’s iconic culture! Begin with beach yoga (weather permitting), discovering how Miami’s sunshine, beaches, and outdoor lifestyle have shaped its identity as a destination for health and wellness. Then visit the colorful Wynwood Walls, where vibrant street art reflects the city’s cultural diversity, creativity, and spirit of self-expression. While at Wynwood, enjoy a private tour and a photo-worthy spray painting experience.
Later we’ll depart from the Port of Miami aboard MSC Seaside. Join your teacher and classmates for dinner aboard ship.
Saturday, May 15
Nassau, The Bahamas
Spend the day discovering Nassau and enjoying the experiences available in The Bahamas.
Sunday, May 16
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve
Enjoy a day at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, surrounded by the natural beauty of The Bahamas.
Monday, May 17
Return to Miami
Enjoy breakfast before disembarking. MSC recommends that guests not schedule air or train travel to depart before 1:30 p.m.

Tuition Details
Use Your Host Family Education Contribution
Most au pairs receive up to $500 from their host families to use toward their education requirement.
- Many students choose to apply this contribution toward this course.
The tuition price does not include the following:
- Airfare to/from Miami
- Transportation from the airport or from the ship at the end of the cruise
Payment Options
The total tuition for the May 2027 Miami & Bahamas course is $1,269. Choose the payment option that works best for you.
Pay in Full — $1,269
Pay the full tuition when you register.
Reserve with $500
Pay a $500 deposit when registering. The remaining $769 is due by February 22, 2027.
Accommodations
- At Hotel Rendale Miami Beach, each student has their own bunk bed in a four-person room. Rooms may include both female and male au pairs.
- Aboard ship, each student has their own bed in an inside cabin, two to a room.

Earn Your Towson University Certificate
Once you successfully complete the course, you’ll earn 6 credits / 72 credit hours.
Your Certificate of Completion will be issued by Towson University, an accredited post-secondary institution, typically within 10 days after all course requirements have been completed.
You’ll have up to three weeks after the course to complete and submit your post-course assignment. The sooner you submit it, the sooner we can begin processing your certificate.
International Travel Requirements
Required Travel Documents
Each cruise passenger is solely responsible for identifying and obtaining every travel document required for the entire cruise vacation and for having those documents available when needed. Guests without proper travel documentation will be denied boarding, and no refund will be provided.
Review the list of countries whose citizens require a visa to enter The Bahamas.
Second-Year Au Pairs and International Travel
Au pairs in their extension term may be eligible to travel to The Bahamas under the federal automatic-revalidation provision when the trip does not exceed 30 days and they have not applied for another visa. Final admission into the United States with an expired visa is determined by immigration officials at the port of entry.
Contact your au pair agency before enrolling to confirm that you are eligible for this international trip.
Cancellation & Transfer Policies
Because this course includes prepaid cruise arrangements, its cancellation policy differs from our standard course policy.
If You Cancel
If You Cancel
- On or before Monday, February 22, 2027: Full refund.
- Between Tuesday, February 23, and Tuesday, April 13, 2027: You will forfeit $405. Any remaining payments will be refunded.
- On or after Wednesday, April 14, 2027: No refund or course credit is available.
Transfers
Due to the nature of this course, transfers to another course are not permitted.
