Turn Miami into your creative playground as you explore South Beach, Wynwood Walls, the Design District, Little Havana and Bayside Marketplace — and take in the city from the water on a sunset cruise on Biscayne Bay.
Build your confidence as a content creator while learning how to create photos, videos and stories that people connect with. By the end of the experience, you’ll have practical skills, fresh ideas and a polished project — whether it’s a reel, photo essay or story series — ready to share.

Self-Paced Online
Your journey begins with a flexible, self-paced online module available starting in August. Complete the activities and shared assignments at your own pace, whenever they fit your schedule.
Complete the online portion before your trip so you’ll have more free time to enjoy Miami!
Know Before You Go — Zoom
Join a “Know Before You Go” session where you can ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and connect with other au pairs before traveling to Miami.
Welcome to Miami
Welcome session at Hotel Rendale Miami Beach — our daily starting point while we’re in Miami — followed by a group dinner in South Beach.
South Beach Content Creation
This morning we'll travel to the Design District, a creative neighborhood dedicated to innovative fashion, art and architecture. Later today you'll explore South Beach with your teacher while completing creative challenges designed to help you practice your content creation skills.
Miami Highlights + Sunset Cruise
Explore some of Miami’s must-see spots — Wynwood Walls, Little Havana, Bayside Marketplace — and enjoy a sunset cruise, all while continuing to capture and create content throughout the day.
Project Wrap-Up
Wrap up the course with independent work time on your content creation project, plus a one-on-one meeting with your teacher for feedback and questions.

Tuition Details
Use Your Host Family Education Contribution
- Most au pairs receive up to $500 from their host families to use toward their education requirement.
- Many students choose to apply this contribution toward this course.
The tuition price does not include the following:
- airfare to/from Miami
- accommodations
- meals, other than those listed
Earn Your Towson University Certificate
Once you successfully complete the course, you’ll earn 6 credits / 72 credit hours.
Your Certificate of Completion will be issued by Towson University, an accredited post-secondary institution, typically within 10 days after all course requirements have been completed.
You’ll have up to three weeks after the course to complete and submit your post-course assignment. You don’t need to wait the full three weeks — the sooner you submit it, the sooner we can begin processing your certificate.
Cancellation & Transfer Policies
We understand that plans sometimes change. Your refund, course-credit or transfer options depend on how far in advance you make the change.
If You Cancel
If You Cancel Your Course Enrollment
- 22 or more days before the first class: Full refund.
- 21–11 days before the first class: Full refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
- 10–6 days before the first class: No refund. Instead, you’ll receive a Learning Across America course credit equal to the tuition paid, less a $75 cancellation fee. The credit is valid for one year from the date of issue and is transferable.
- 5 or fewer days before the first class: No refund or course credit is available.
Transfers
Transfer Your Place to Another Au Pair
If you need to cancel, you may transfer your enrollment in the same course to another au pair at no charge, provided Learning Across America receives notice at least 3 days before the course begins.
Move Your Enrollment to Another Learning Across America Course
- 22 or more days before your original course: No transfer fee.
- 21–11 days before your original course: $25 transfer fee.
- 10–6 days before your original course: $50 transfer fee.
- 5 or fewer days before your original course: Transfers are not permitted.
How to Cancel
Email Learning Across America directly from the email address of the enrolled student. Please use “Attention: Cancellation of Course” as the subject line.
