Coming on your own? Join a welcoming group of au pairs, make friends and enjoy the cruise together. Open to au pairs age 18 and older.

Return to Miami
Our ship arrives back at the Port of Miami. Enjoy breakfast, then it’s time to say farewell to the friends you’ve made! Disembarkation usually takes a few hours; do not book departing air or train travel before 1:30 p.m.

Three Nights Aboard MSC Seaside
Enjoy an inside cabin shared with only one other au pair participating in the cruise. Each guest has their own bed in a cabin with two separate beds.
All three nights — November 20–22 — are included in the $499 cruise fee.
Important Cruise Details
Does this trip offer education credit?
No. This cruise-only experience is designed for fun and relaxation. No education credit is awarded, and there are no online classes, coursework or assignments.
Can I Join If I’m Under 21?
Yes! This cruise-only experience is open to au pairs age 18 and older. Alcoholic beverages are available only to guests age 21 and older.
What Costs Extra?
- Internet aboard ship (onboard texting is available through the MSC for Me app).
- Excursions offered by MSC in The Bahamas.

Required Travel Documents
Each cruise passenger is responsible for identifying and obtaining all required travel documents for the entire cruise vacation and having them available when needed. Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding, and no refunds will be given.
Review The Bahamas visa information and confirm your individual requirements with your au pair agency before booking.
International Travel for Second-Year Au Pairs
If you are in your extension year, contact your au pair agency to confirm whether you are eligible to travel to The Bahamas and return to the United States. Review the Department of State’s automatic revalidation guidance with your agency. Eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, and admission is determined at the U.S. port of entry.
Cruise Cancellation Policy
- On or before August 31, 2026: Full refund.
- September 1 through October 20, 2026: You forfeit $405.
- After October 20, 2026: No refund is available.
To cancel, email info@learningacrossamerica.net. Your cancellation is not effective until you receive written confirmation from Learning Across America.
Booking Your Travel and Connecting with the Group
First sign up for the cruise and receive your emailed confirmation. Once your place is confirmed, you may book your travel arrangements.
Do not book departing air or train travel before 1:30 p.m. on November 23, as disembarkation usually takes a few hours.
As the tour approaches, Learning Across America will send each guest a WhatsApp group link to share updates and connect about travel plans.
