Tuition Details
Use Your Host Family Education Contribution
- Most au pairs receive up to $500 from their host families to use toward their education requirement.
- Many students choose to apply this contribution toward this course.
You may reserve your place with a $500 deposit. The remaining balance is due by January 28, 2027.
The tuition price does not include airfare to/from New Orleans, accommodations, or meals other than those listed.
Earn Your Towson University Certificate
Once you successfully complete the course, you’ll earn 6 credits / 72 credit hours.
Your Certificate of Completion will be issued by Towson University, an accredited post-secondary institution, typically within 10 days after all course requirements have been completed.
You’ll have up to three weeks after the course to complete and submit your post-course assignment.
Cancellation & Transfer Policies
We understand that plans sometimes change. Your refund, course-credit or transfer options depend on how far in advance you make the change.
If You Cancel
If You Cancel Your Course Enrollment
- 22 or more days before the first class: Full refund.
- 21–11 days before: Full refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
- 10–6 days before: Course credit less a $75 cancellation fee.
- 5 or fewer days before: No refund or course credit.
Transfers
You may transfer your enrollment in the same course to another au pair at no charge with at least 3 days’ notice. Transfer fees for another Learning Across America course depend on timing.
How to Cancel
Email Learning Across America from the enrolled student’s email address. Use “Attention: Cancellation of Course” as the subject line.
